SCHOOL PICTURES

I know I am a biased, but aren't they just adorable!! We thought that their school pictures turned out so cute...they are definitely more photogenic than I!! Sara had her 2 year old picture done, but she wasn't very cooperative, so we have to go back for a retake..oh well! We will stick up her picture as soon as we get it. Brittany and Kami are both loving their teachers and school so much! It is so nice that they aren't dragging their feet in the morning!! Kami would go all weekend..(at least for right now!! How long can this last??) Sara and I are trying to take walks in the morning after the girls leave. She likes going in her wagon and I enjoy having the one on one time together!! She was chasing a butterfly the other day down the sidewalk...the cutest thing ever!

Birthday Celebration

We had so much fun at Grandma's and Grandpa's house yesterday!! We got to celebrate Sara and Brittany's birthdays with the cousins. We also celebrated 2 of their cousins birthdays..Emilee and Dallin!! Emilee and Sara both have the same birthday..and Sara's cousin Gabriella also has the same birthday! We had dinner together and then we got to start the real FUN! Opening presents (each of them was in their own world of gifts..very funny to watch!), breaking a pinata and of course cake and ice-cream! Hard to believe that our little Sara is already 2 years old! She is so much fun...we could not imagine our lives without her. HAPPY BIRTHDAY SWEET SARA!!

The Birthday Girls

Just some cute pictures we took on Sara's birthday of her and Kami. Kami will turn 7 on the 29th of this month. We are busy planning both of their parties. Kami is excited to have a "Nancy Drew Mystery" party!! We couldn't imagine life without them! They are both so sweet and fun!!

Apple Picking

Saturday we all went apple picking...and this year we even picked raspberries!! The raspberries were great, but I now know why they charge $4.00 per container..they are so prickly! We went with our neighbor Kelly and her daughter Emily. Since we haven't set a "party date" for Sara's birthday, we thought this would be fun to do on her birthday. She is now a big "2" year old!! WOW - can't believe it has been that long already! Sandra was going to come, but she was sick. They only had two varieties to pick..gala and jonamac. Sara loved it! She especially liked being toted around in the wagon. One of our most favorite things is to make homemake applesauce in the crockpot and serve it with puff pancakes!!

PHILMONT

Spencer and Cordell headed off this summer to Philmont for scouts. They came back in one piece after about 11o miles of hiking over 12 days. Spencer was the crew chief for the group. What a great experience, something they will always remember!! Spencer insisted (and would again) on carrying a portable fan with him on the hike..his only luxary!! The food was not great and Spencer couldn't care if he saw another piece of jerky again!! I do not think I have ever in my life seen such dirty clothes!! Definitely put the wash machine to the test!! Their favorite view was "Tooth of Time" and they both enjoyed the rock climbing!

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL

Kami and Brittany are off for their first day of school! Both are loving their teachers and happy to be back with their friends!! Brittany has joined band this year and is learning how to play the flute! Both girls are busy, busy with gymnastics and love it! Kami is our social bug who already has two birthday invites for this month!
